I think this topic should be locked, and there really shouldn't be any discussions of bootlegs on this forum.

Well, butters' original question was a valid one, even if the answer was kind of obvious.

whatever. There was a 6-page topic on the greek theater 85 concert video, which only got locked after I asked for it. I've seen even the well-known members posting about bootlegs. Get over it. If a mod thinks this topic shouldn't be open he/she will lock it. I don't see anything wrong with talking about bootlegs, the rules just say you can't trade them.

It doesn't matter if you are or you're not, butters. That's not the point. We do not allow bootlegs on this forum. You need to stop being so defensive when a mod gets on you. I know other members are starting to be rude to you, but for the most part, we've been trying to help you.

I'm giving you one more chance before I put my mod pants on. Please get to know the forum and how it works. Take some time reading the forum FAQ and the Etiquette Guide.

I am going to lock this topic. Though I will add that while we shouldn't have whole topics regarding bootlegs, there's nothing wrong with an occasional discussion of bootlegs in an appropriate topic, as long as the Mods don't get called in to clean up (IE: No links, no instructions on getting it, etc)
