Kathy, do you already have your Alcatraz ticket? They do sell out quickly, just FYI. If you're going there, then you should definitely just do San Francisco sightseeing--there's plenty to see in that city. Just find a place to park down at Fisherman's Wharf, since that's where you'll catch the boat over to Alcatraz, and walk around down there, maybe take a ride on a cable car. It's an awesome city.

Wish I could come with you, but I've committed to being in Santa Rosa Wed. & Thurs., which is further up north, and not near as fun as San Francisco.

On Friday we'll probably get to the fair around 2:00 if you want to meet up. You still have my cell #?

Yep. Got Alcatraz tickets already. Fred and I are actually doing that saturday, because I bought the tickets BEFORE I knew I'd have extra time around the area... so I'll be driving all over silly like.. LOL Oh well. I'm still looking forward to the whole adventure.

Yep, still got your cell #! Getting to the fair @ 2 sounds like a good plan. I found out too that the White Sox were playing in Oakland Friday and Saturday, if they would be in town on THURSDAY, then I'd go to the game, but unfortunately.. *sigh*

Yay! Just a few more days!!
I'm not sure what time I'll get to the fairgrounds... but I'm sure I'll run into everyone eventually. Please don't hesitate to come up and say hi if you see me! I'm horrible at recognizing people and remembering names... so don't take it personally. Look for the big white camera lens! If it's before the show, I'll have a very full forest green backpack (I'm 4'11'') and will be walking with my boyfriend (6'5''). Hard to miss.

The show was fantastic last night. Hopefully I'll have more time LATE tonight or tomorrow morning to do a full update.

Lots of donuts
He wanted all the Transvestites to sing Yoda
I was sitting by a great group of people who were totally into the show, so it was a lot of fun to bounce around in my seat and enjoy myself.. plus take about 285 pictures from front and center... LOL

it was fantastic.. though I wasn't crazy about the fact after they opened the doors, we basically had to jog fast, or get run over by the mob of kids who all wanted front row.. lol

Regardless, it was great.. and I'm glad I'm out here!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRED!!!

Onto Alcatraz now.. :)

I didn't expect this one to be indoors, but it was kinda nice to be out of the heat.

There were 16 new donuts... mostly berry-type. Plus, we got a restart!

The canadians make him "very nervous".

...More later!
