I can't say I've ever heard of this Wild Man Fischer man... Would he have done anything with which I'd be familiar?

Probably not. He's best known in southern California, and really only nationally known due to his exposure on Dr Demento. Wildman (Larry) Fischer is a clinically diagnosed schizophrenic, but he wrote songs that Dr D likes.
This means something. This is important.

Actually if you go to the site and click on Who Is Wildman Fischer you can hear something from him. Hes very odd. And not a good singer, but it works for him.

Remember back when this was about a movie about Wild Man Fischer, and how Al was in the trailer for it? That was great.
