Btw, I'm watching the Red Carpet show. Who was interviewed just before Al? I don't remember. I know he comes up pretty quick. 10 minutes into the second hour, right? I'm going to tape it. Thanks to anyone who can tell me about this.

Al did not get his Grammy on the show. He got it beforehand. All we have are pics. We don't know everything he said, but El posted a quote from his speech in the Grammy Winners Announced thread.

I didn't find out until this morning that he won. I was so excited. I almost started crying. I got teary eyed. I was mad last night that i stayed up as late as I did to watch it. I went to bed a hour later than I usually do just to see him get the grammy. If i knew that they didnt show all of the nominees on t.v I wouldn't even have watched the thing. But this mornin when I got to shcool I got on the computer and found out.

Maybe since Prince was there they talked and he finally gave in. Doubt it but maybe. That was actually the first time of actually hearing prince sing. I heard him one other time but he sounded like a girl. ....... He is very short too
