April 1 could be fun. I'm going if I get the next day off of work.

Hey-
I just WON tickets to see Weird Al April 1st! The retro 80's station has been plugging his concert all day with commercials and they were giving away tickets. What I had to do is listen to a song clip and then sing the next line. The song was I lost on Jeopardy and the line was "Well I knew I was in trouble now, my hope of winning sank..... I had to sing "Cause I got the daily double now, then my mind went blank!" I can't even believe I got through to the station....they might have more to win! I would check it out... it is retro 93.9 in Indianapolis.

That is totally cool dustin! I'd double-check with the radio station, however, to see what seats you got if possible. I know last time I won Al tickets from a radio station last tour, they ended up being Row Z nosebleed (which I gave to my husband's boss's son -- got major brownie points <g>)

Hey-
That could be a problem if they are nosebleed seats. I am picking them up on Monday a.m. soooo if they are bad seats I will upgrade and probably will give those to some people I know who said they want less $$ seats. Tickets are on sale Feb 14th 10am for Indy.
I really think the Dj thought I was nuts when I won them. I am just happy Al is receiving some publicity. Now- if they came with after-show passes hahaha

When I won tickets on a TV talk show, I believe they were in the balcony. I already had front row, so I found a co-worker whose husband was a fan and gave them away.

Congrats on winning those tickets, Justin! That's very cool!

Patti

who is still hoping to see Al next leg.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I don't think there's ever been one before. That's why this is sure to become a milestone in Al concert history.
