Re: Albuquerque
Passed by there when on tour last year. Albuquerque is so killer, no wonder Al wrote that.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Re: Albuquerque
I apologize if this has already been brought up in another thread. I found no mention of it. Also, I looked through all 46 pages of this thread and didn't see it mentioned. Several years ago, a "Weird Al" fan gave me a bunch of rare "Weird Al" tracks from throughout his career. It's quite the treasure. Track 13 of Disc 2 is named "The Railroads/I'm Stupid Bludes - LA State Fair 8-20-81". At about the 1:31 mark he starts talking about going to Winchell's Donuts and the person asking him "Yeah, what do you want?" and it continues with a couple of lines very similar to the donut shop section in Albuquerque. I don't know how many of you were aware of that, considering it's a very rare track. Anyway, I thought it was cool that the origins to a part of Albuquerque was from 1981, 18 years before "Running With Scissors".
