Thank you MW, I was wondering about that too.

The Australian tour dates are smurf. 3 non-festival dates, and that's it. No Canberra, Newcastle, Perth, Brisbane, or Hobart like on previous tours. I guess why go to all those different cities when you can just charge more than $350 for a meet & greet?

Don't get angry at Al, be angry at his booking agent :P

Very disappointed that there isn't a Brisbane show this time round. Ended up purchasing Melbourne tickets....and flights....and accommodation....

Sorry, just when you said "I guess why go to all those different cities when you can just charge more than $350 for a meet & greet?", it sounded like you were talking pretty much directly to Al.

I can understand Grom's disappointment. Now I do think it's dumb to gripe about what cities he goes to. We have to remember not every venue/town will agree to terms with Al or Al can't agree to theirs. The man can't be everywhere. That being said, I am not thrilled with the whole setup this time around. It was just all overpriced and made Al appear to be less accessible unless you shell out the big bucks. If I were going by myself it would not have mattered. They needed to be more open with ticket policies, like letting people buy good seats without having to pay extra for the meet and greet.

Meeting Al is a pretty huge deal, makes sense I guess, he isn't offering meets for all the shows. Man, I just paid 400 for Black Sabbath (very awesome first level seats for The END Tour) and that does NOT include any meet & greets, I still happily paid as I have seen them before and even though they are all nearly 70, and this being the definite final TOUR, I just can't not go. If Al was charging that for my birthday a few months back I would have paid it, and I am not a very well off individual financially. There are only 50 or so meets per show so they must be like, well, you want to meet him, you must pay. Seems harsh but just like the other shows I have paid more than 2-400 for (Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Sabbath, Al) it is ALWAYS a killer time and worth the expense in the end. Leaves you with memories for the rest of your life!
