Re: Mandatory Tour Chatter
Such a great effort at first! Then about halfway through, she actually reenacted the famous phrase "the lyric sheets so hard to find, what are the words, oh never mind!"
It seemed like she at least tried to indicate the rhythm of the chant for the first half, possibly mouthing or signing some syllables to indicate pronunciation of some syllables when she could even understand what was going on.

I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Re: Mandatory Tour Chatter
Awesome! I love that during the Hawaiian chant part in the beginning, she expressed the "everybody!" by acting like she was saying "why aren't you singing along??" An amazing effort! I enjoyed how expressive she was and that she gave her all as long as she could, then decided to sit back and enjoy the show for a bit instead. She seemed to be pretty into it!

I watched also the two other clips with her doing sign language. OMG, I was only watching her, instead of Al and the band! This is so distracting
. I hope she's not there when I'm going to see Al

That's always the problem for me when there's a sign language translator at an event! I can't stop watching them; I find it fascinating.Marc wrote:I watched also the two other clips with her doing sign language. OMG, I was only watching her, instead of Al and the band! Just curious - for those who have waited by the bus after a show for Al to sign something, do you provide your own pen/marker or does he already have one in hand?

Some venues provide them. One show the interpreter signed I don't know and threw her arms up
