Probably you're right. I'd never risk colouring a tooth

I'm glad I could ease your fears about Al possibly ruining one of his gorgeous teeth. :#

I found this link in Al's twitter feed, with more info about Al's MAD magazine guest editor debut.

Weird Al is taking over MAD magazine
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

That sounds very interesting. I haven't read an issue of MAD in about seven or eight years, but I will definitely pick up Al's issue.

Al will be guest editor for issue #533

Let's try to ignore the dreaded Yankovich (And subsequent correct spelling in the same artcle later on) long enough to check out this interesting piece of news.

This is pretty cool. I was an avid collector of MAD in my younger years and still have a huge collection. I used to never miss an issue, but essentially stopped buying it regularly maybe 6 or 7 years ago as I found the quality of the writing to be not up to its original standards. (Either that, or maybe it was always low-quality and I just matured at a slower rate than most.) In any case, I'll be picking up this issue for sure!

I get an occasional free issue from friends and family who have jobs where they can get old issues and I'll buy one every once in a while (Especially if I'm at the comic book shop and there isn't much else worth getting. I feel bad if I go into a comic shop and not get anything.), but I haven't read regularly in a while, but yeah,m I'll be on the hunt for this.

Saw Mad in a magazine rack earlier today, and leafed through it. It had an in-magazine announcement of the upcoming issue with a shot of Al.

Here are some of the contributors to Al's issue of MAD:

I spot Emo Philips, Kristen Schaal, John Hodgman... Who are the others?

I spy Patton Oswalt, Thomas Lennon, Chris Hardwick and Seth Green. Not sure who the guy in the bottom middle square is. He looks familiar though.

EDIT: Maybe Nathan Fielder??

Good call on all of those, Katelyn!
I am pretty sure the center middle one isn't supposed to be Nathan. He doesn't really have a receding hairline like that, nor is he a known associate of Al's. (As far as I know, they've never met.)
