WOWAY Awards 2014-2015: The Set Up (You Need This)

My presentations are in, and only one day late! I was also informed that my video camera that is the size of a credit card is no longer the high end, sophisticated, professional piece of technology that it never was even close to back in 2008, so when watching my presentations, please set your expectations very low (quality and content! )

Hey everyone, remember me? The host from the previous WOWAY Awards five years ago?

I just spoke with the host of this year's show, and she has been hard at work all week getting ready for Saturday night. I had been waiting for Alicia to post some information about how these WOWAY Awards are going to be presented, but apparently she is actually filming part of the show right now as I type this! I have no idea what it is that she's shooting because, as always, I'm staying 100% spoiler free. But from what she did tell me, we're in for an awesome show, hopefully worth the five year wait!

In the meantime, I have some WOWAY Awards news of my own to announce:
Because this Saturday is not already busy enough with pre-WOWAY Awards hype, I will be hosting my very own Red Carpet pre-show LIVE at 9:30pm Eastern / 6:30pm Pacific!!!
The show will last a half hour and will lead right into the actual ceremony, which Alicia will start at 10:00e/7:00p.

I'm going to host this red carpet pre-show using the app Periscope, which will allow me to livestream to the Internet using my iPhone, thus allowing me to go on location to the red carpet. If you have an iPhone, I highly recommend downloading this app. It will allow you to enjoy the show in a more interactive way. If not, no worries. All you'll have to do is check my Twitter page (@TMBJon, which is also my username on Periscope) right at 6:30pm Pacific on Saturday, where there will be a link that will let you watch live from your web browser. I apologize in advance if there are any technical difficulties, or if your own Internet connections don't allow you to watch Periscopes. I tested it out today and it should be working. I also apologize to those in disparate time zones who won't be able to watch my pre-show live. Hopefully I'll be able to save it, but Periscope can be fickle. The good news is that Alicia has future-proofed her WOWAY Awards so the real show will be watchable for generations.
