But does anyone think there's a possibility of it showing up in the Mandatory Tour medley? I certainly think it'd get a very positive reaction from crowds, and I'd love to hear it
I wish he'd do that, I love Star Trek, especially TNG! But somehow I doubt he even bothered to write anything when he found out other versions on youtube.

If this would happen, you would need to be familiar with Star Trek more than Frozen. Even if you haven't seen Frozen, you couldn't manage not to hear the song, could you?
Eh, I've heard it once or twice during bar karaoke on a Friday night a couple weeks ago, and I could at least try to see how Al could possibly work in a Star Trek theme, and one of the people doing it gave me an aside to say "you should do a parody to this song" too. Nevertheless, I still think it's possible Al could squeeze it into the song medley somehow.
I've done things that'd probably make you lose your brain
'Cause I could surely act the same... THAT'S MY DISGUISE!
I think this should be the topic that has the sticky. We know the tour dates now, so that anticipation is over. Now is time to speculate on what we think Al might perform, and how he'll pull that off.
Now that the dates are out, I can't help but notice a severe lack of California/Southern California dates...in recent years, Al has shown up at the OC Fair and events like that, but this seems like more of a 'tour' than that...
SO...I wonder if he'll be added to the Coachella set list, since it's a few weeks before this tour starts...that'd certainly make my purchase of Coachella passes more enjoyable!
I have a feeling --more than a feeling-- that there will be a West Coast/California leg that hasn't been announced yet at all. This is his home base; he wouldn't just skip it entirely. The question is whether that leg happens in October/November, or not until 2016.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.
I've been thinking a lot lately about what songs Al might actually perform on the Mandatory World Tour. Since I just purchased my ticket to the early Denver show, I thought now might be an appropriate time to share with you my prediction for what the setlist might be. Although it includes some deep '80s cuts I'd like to see him bring out of mothballs, this isn't necessarily my "dream setlist" for a Weird Al concert tour (which is why I posted it here instead of the that thread). This is my most realistic and semi-educated guess at what the set list might be.
