I have to go to an opera by myself again because none of my friends like opera. #fwp
why settle for a regular glazed donut, when you could have a box of one dozen starving crazed weasels?anthontherun wrote:Hey Dunkin' Donuts, I come in every Sunday morning to get a maple frosted donut, and today you have the audacity to tell me you didn't make any? Fiiiiiiiiiine, I'll get a regular glazed donut like some commoner.

hmph. is it a first-world problem that i don't know any Al fans in real life and thus am totally jealous of your Alpocalypse-watching party?MandatoryFun wrote:So get this smurf. Since I used to pass all my exams in bachelor and master years studying only from my lecture notes and I've only read one textbook in 6 years to its entirety (the lecturer of that subject was cruel, there was no other way), now that there are no lectures in PhD studies and I have to prepare for exams by reading a textbook it's a torture
! The horror!

here, have a can of spam and a viking warrior; legend has it they're good-luck charms for exams:

edited to add another school-related FWP: i have to do a bunch of online lectures with quizzes at the end, and i tried to fast-foward and just take the quizzes without listening to the lectures, but it won't let me!
(so i muted the lecture audio and am watching a ballet on youtube. then i'll take the first quiz.

I cut my tongue while licking an envelope,
and it didn't even taste good. I remember the good old days, when envelopes had a decent flavor on them, like peppermint. *sigh*

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!
Al Team #325

I remember one and only time I sent paper letter, I felt like an imbecile at a post office, not knowing how it's all done. The post-office-lady (how are these people called?) wasn't amused

They really do taste awful, don't they? I feel like I'm going to end up like Susan Ross every time I mail a letter.algonacchick wrote:I cut my tongue while licking an envelope, and it didn't even taste good.
