Wow cool, I wonder if he's going to play (This Song's Just) Six Words Long?!?!?!?

Someone go and record this for me please. No matter what he plays, it'll be awesome.

Re: Al plays George Harrison tribute show in L.A., Sep. 28,
I wonder if he's gonna do a straightforward cover like at the Pixies show or if he's being brought in for the comic relief--the last official George Harrison tribute show had a set by Monty Python so it'd be fitting if Al did a parody. Since George didn't write "Got My Mind Set on You" and grew to resent its popularity, I hope "Pac-man" would get the nod if he only could do one.
Did George ever comment on "Pac-man" (or "Six Words Long")? I vaguely recall hearing that he wasn't a fan but I'm not positive.

Re: Al plays George Harrison tribute show in L.A., Sep. 28,
I predict one of the following, depending on the overall format of the show:
1) Al performs a straightforward cover of one of George's songs (a la "I Bleed")
2) Al plays accordion on several songs with a bunch of the artists on the list.

I think it's not mean to poke some fun at someone who gets it (and given Harrison approved the parody, he did get it)tomatochives wrote:You don't think that it's a little.... mean-spirited? To play at a tribute, at least?
