Late Night with Seth Myers -- Sept. 30
Just saw on Al's site today where it was announced that he would be on Seth Myers' show September 30. Called their ticket line, though, and they said that all tickets for the month of September were sold out. Those of you nearby, though, may be able to do stand-by. Not sure if I would want to travel and chance stand-by.

Maybe he will be interviewed, and then do a song??? (I don't watch Late Night, so I don't know if they have musical guest) If he DOES perform, I am hoping it is something other than Tacky

This makes perfect sense since they worked together on the Emmy thing. I hope I remember to record it!

Dude what! Ugh this is my dream
What's with the having to call for Seth Meyers, though? For Jimmy Fallon it's right on the website to request tickets why do you have to make a phone call to get tickets to see Seth Meyers what is this the 1960s

Seth Meyers only honors ticket requests placed with a rotary phone.yankochick38 wrote:What's with the having to call for Seth Meyers, though? For Jimmy Fallon it's right on the website to request tickets why do you have to make a phone call to get tickets to see Seth Meyers what is this the 1960s

Nobody should talk as fast as Al had to, this late at night. It makes one feel...
Anyway, the interview was basically everything that's been said recently rehashed into a little segment, which was fine. The Wheel of Fortune story at the end, though, was absolutely hilarious.

It didn't seem like he had to talk that fast to me. I agree that he answered questions he's been asked a million times, but I hadn't heard the James Brown story. Hysterical! I am glad he shared the story about where he was when he heard Mandatory Fun was #1. So sweet.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

I have noticed that Al seems to talk fast during interviews. I've always assumed that he does this because he's used to idiot interviewers interrupting him and he wants to make sure he gets his point across.Alinite27 wrote:Nobody should talk as fast as Al had to, this late at night. Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.
