On the Garage Sale flyer:
If you are reading this, you obviously have a lot of time on your hands. There is no garage sale. I just put this up so that this area of the video looks populated.
 Could that be an "I Remember Larry" reference?

This was a really cool video. Enjoyed it even more the second time through.
I love the style of animation used, and I really like that they were able to get all of the celebrity cameos (such as they were).
There was really a LOT going on in the art here. I think Dave and Jackie's list just scratches the surface.
The animator seems to be obsessed with Steve Jay, haha. His photo is also hanging on the wall in the first scene.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Some of those I didn't say because they were obvious gags (Aloha, 27 on Calender, Sports Signs) and or didn't relate to any songs, but I will definately add the Dog Eat Dog and Jurassic Park reference to the list.
EDIT: I did not see a liquid paper reference, but I did find a drawing with someone listening to Dog Eat Dog on their laptop

Al just tweeted that Tim Thompson did the stop-motion animation for this video, and that it took a YEAR!! Woah!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!
