Man. I needa know more al fans. I only know a total of three and they are no where near as obsessed as I am. Well, exccept for my mate who got spat on but i dont see her much :D

I pray and pray that al comes back to oz to do another concert so then i can mingle with the obsessed.

It was funny, after the concert all i wanted to do was go back the next night and see him.

I was listening to Lasagna on the way home from work yesterday and i couldnt help but smile when i remembered how much i liked it in his show. Fav live song. Unexpected i guess.

How often does he tour round America?? This was the first time he's been to Australia and i want him back! Go al, go al, go go go al.

It can vary. Al usually spent a year on the road performing once a new ALbum was released. Now, it seems, he will spend about 6 months in a year performing if he releases a new ALbum.

Sometimes he'll do occasional concerts in his area (Los Angeles) if there's some type of fair going on.

I'm sure the boys would love to do it again. All it takes is promotors offering enough money to make it interesting.

Oh scottidog you give me high hopes :sleepy:

He's just so brilliant when hes live. A lot of people have asked me what i thought of his shows and all i could say was fantastic. Too many great moments to describe!

Besides if they had asked me further details i would have been there for another hour or so explaining :P

hehe...my favorite al concert.....*drum roll*. it was the PHOENIX one..
saw a weird al look-a-like...
my dad pointed out this guy that he thought was weird al. i freaked out and noticed it was a guy that looked like al. the guy and a female handed out these head brand that have bela on it. i ran down to them and they were so nice to hand out tons to the crowd. i thank them, it's people like them that make things outstanding. doing such a thing as to make these head bands. a man over yander started clapping and so everyone joined in. it was great cause the al look-a-like did this al like expression.
-crazed al fan

Uh, yep. That was me. Cid and I handed out those famous Poodle Hat bands that night. Crazed Al Fan and I talked about that concert afterwards. That was a fun show, we both agreed. Yep, very cool.

My favorite concert moment - Orange County Fair, Monday night. During YODA when they turn the lights on the crowd and Al points the mic towards the audience to sing along, Al looks right at me, waves and says:

"Hi Kevin!"

Yes sir. I about died that night. And thanks to smegabyte (luv ya!), I have proof that it happened and that I didn't just dream it. Our whole group (including my teenage son) was pretty surprised. That Al, whatta guy!

Each show that Al does is a little different. That's what makes going to them so much fun, you never know what could happen. I really enjoyed reading this thread!
Heard at Alcon III: "You know, there's an Weird Al look-a-like in Connecticut that looks just like you."

Thats awesome al-look-alike. When we were heading home from the concert i just remember being speechless (believe me that hardly every happens to me). We were trying to talk about how excellent the concert was but there were no words to describe it. I was blown away. :sleepy:

I met Kevin at AlCon. He's really cool! And that story about Al saying "Hi, Kevin" is one of my favorites! Wish I had gone to ANY of the OC Fair shows, but, alas, I'm poor and living in MI. Too far away. *sigh*

who didn't get an Al hug, but DID get a Kevin one! What a guy!
