Best Parody Target
Forgetting about the now well-known Weird Al parodies, which of these five original songs do you actually like the most?

Re: Best Parody Target
I don't really like any of these originals very much, but I do like REM, so I'll give it to them by default, even though it's one of their weaker songs.
In order:
Stand
Wild Thing
Money for Nothing
She Drives Me Crazy

"Money For Nothing", and it isn't even close.

Stand....but if Al did Funky Cold Medina instead of Wild Thing, it wouldn't even be close
Money For Nothing's great too. She Drives Me Crazy is just kind of there....never did anything for me.

You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

"Money for Nothing," but this one was tough. I actually like all of these songs, although MFN and "Stand" are a notch (or two) above the others. In the end, gotta go with Knopfler. I feel like he's underrated in the pop/rock landscape.

There's not much to choose from, but "Money for Nothing" outshines the rest. REM is my 2nd pick.

In order:
1) "Money For Nothing" - love that guitar. Still a classic, even if Al's parody was a few years late.
2) "Stand"
3) "Wild Thing"
4) "She Drives Me Crazy"
