As far as the "hybrid" goes, I kind CN may have been saying that the song may start off actually being a direct parody, who knows maybe for a verse or so, but then segue into the rest of the song actually being an original piece of work that has a sound reminiscent of the targeted band or artist, like other style parodies we've seen. We've definitely never seen Al do anything like that before, I think it would be awesome!

And I don't exactly think in any way would a "3 song parody" be something ruled out as something Al would not do, but I mean, he HAS released at least two songs that had more than one song parodied in it..

I don't think anyone has said they'd rather see a Beatles or Zeppelin polka, and will be fine with the polka regardless of what's in there.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Maybe Bermuda and Patton are calling the polka one of Al's bests because the song is literally called "Best Polka Ever", mostly due to it incorporating OneDirection's "Best Song Ever" at either the beginning or end.

Or because it's 2014, it would be called "#BestPolkaEver"

LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking Al might do this!

Shoot, great thinking! Can we speculate about Polka titles some more here? Because I like this idea a lot. He could also go the alliteration route again - Polka Pandemic, Polka Panic, Polka Pandemonium.

What about "Polkapalooza"? One of my friends once thought Al had actually used this title somewhere and I'm sure he'd like to be retroactively proven right.

I don't mind the sound of Polkachella.
