I just realized that Al could probably parody Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" as "Star Wars" (on the album AFTER this upcoming one) if he decides to do another song about the 7th movie when it comes out next year. The Juicy J rap verse would probably be the easiest part of that song to write new lyrics to. I realize it may seem like a pointlessly dated parody target, but so were Yoda and TSB when they were released on their respective studio albums, so Al shouldn't have to worry about that in regards to making another a Star Wars song.

But "Lola" and "American Pie" weren't dated; they're classic rock staples. With all due respect to Katy Perry, "Dark Horse" is unlikely to fall into the same category.

I have a feeling we may not be seeing any more concert only songs in the future. Al has said in interviews that writing parodies has become more and more difficult for him in recent times (for various reasons) so something tells me he wouldn't even bother with any throwaway idea for a parody anymore.

He's probably only commits to writing parodies if he thinks they would make for solid full length album tracks. This might be why we had no concert only songs on the Alpocalypse tour, which was for an album it took Al three years to complete from start to finish.

Maybe Al would do a concert only song if he really had a good parody idea he couldn't get permission for but wanted to perform a bit of anyway, but those type of ideas may not come to Al so easily anymore. We could still see the occasional concert only song, but they may be rarities now.

Concert only songs served a purpose when Al didnt have as many albums, therefore as many hits to fill up a concert. Theres only been 1 concert only song in the last three albums, and there werent any done for this last tour. I'm going to guess we wont see any more.

I have a question regarding the new spoiler timeline news. So I shall put it in spoiler text.

Wasn't last March's shoot supposed to be for a live-action video? Then why does Tim Thompson say he just finished animating it? Wouldn't he be talking about a different video? Unless maybe it's going to be half-animated, half-live-action?

Right sure parody-wise this is probably the case; I was just hoping for another audience participation song like Cell Phones.
