Re: Album 14 Timeline/Spoiler Updates
Here's what I think Bermuda could be referring to about Dave's spoiler:
- Spoiler:
- Al saying he would get some original artists to perform with him if he ever got the Superbowl. We all know Amanda Palmer will contribute guest vocals on the album but this might be a hint that another track might feature a guest performance by an artist Al has previously covered similar how Taylor Hanson played piano on "If That Isn't Love" or Ray Manzarek played on "Craigslist" (both of whom have had their songs used in polkas)

I was using wacky just as a generalization

You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I guess Al can stop pondering a We Can't Stop parody, now that Miley Cyrus has parodied her own song on SNL! Very well done!

As much as that seemed like something MAD TV would be doing if it were still on, I enjoyed it. It was a well put together parody, but I'm not so sure if I want to see SNL attempt more of them.

Uh? Except Miley Cyrus herself parodied her own song? On MAD TV, Miley would have been played by Will Sasso.Killingsworth wrote:As much as that seemed like something MAD TV would be doing if it were still on, I enjoyed it. - He'd have to be getting someone much bigger than Taylor Hanson or Amanda Palmer for a SB-quality guest appearance. Perhaps Bruno Mars himself...though this has turned into pure speculation.

Re: Album 14 Speculation :3
Has anyone brought up the idea of a folk style parody at all, or recently? Or a Mumford and Sons style parody, specifically? They're the faces of the, if you will, "folk revival," imo. One of the most recognizable, and Al's band has the banjo to pull it off.
