My New Teacher & Me: L.A. B&N the Grove 9/22

Post by Orthography Enthusiast »

I was checking the Barnes & Noble events calendar for September because the author of a biography of Leonard Cohen is going to be there on Monday the 23rd.... and what to my wondering eyes should appear but this: Al will be signing the new book at the Grove in Los Angeles Sept. 22, 2013! So for those of you who couldn't get to Children's Book World or just feel the need to buy a few more copies, this looks like your chance!

See you there!

The last time I went to a Weird Al kids book signing, Al personally guaranteed to me that the lead single to his forthcoming album would NOT be a parody of "Born This Way." I can't wait to find out what he's ruling out this time around!!

This is on my birthday, but I suffer from an affliction known as "living 2,000 miles away from Los Angeles" so if anyone going is able to record a birthday message from Al or something, that kind of possibly maybe wouldn't suck. I still sadly haven't gotten the opportunity to meet him, and I want him to know that not only would I not sue him if he recorded "Crazy Cow Therapist," it would actually be the greatest moment of my life.

So yeah, just putting that out there :peace:
