It looks like they accidentally turned the track off and then they started over again and he bailed because there was no way around it. And im not too thrilled with the new outfit. The tiger stripe was perfectly suited to the song. The original white suit was great too

Al has changed the suit around a couple times since the 2010 tour for some one-off performances, but it has always been the red/black stripes during regular tour dates. I doubt this is the "new Lovr suit."

Pretty clear what happened here. It was a live show and he had a backing track. Someone backstage somehow accidentally restarted the backing track in the middle of the song. There was nothing Al could do, so he just ended the song mid-sentence. Some guy totally screwed up and it's live television (or live Internet in this case).

Totally silly to say that someone should have "warned" Al. Come on, people.

I believe at a couple gigs (the Fun Fun Fun fest in 2010 and the CO Springs gig in 2011) he just wore the floral print suit from the beginning of the medley because his red/white tiger stripe suit just wasn't available.

It's entirely possible that the tiger suit is already safely packed with the tour wardrobe, ready to go.
