4/19/13 St Charles, MO - Family Arena

Seems like the dates are being added gradually; this one isn't on weirdal.com yet. Although I have no idea where I'll end up in 6-7 months from now, I think it will be very easy to get to one of these shows, assuming one in Texas or the west coast shows up. Anyone going to this one?

Im going to try to make it to this one. With the exception of Minneapolis last May, there have only been, oh, 5 other shows since the Alpocalypse tour started that I tried to get to but never did, so I'm hoping for better results this time.

Fun show. The mix seemed to be slightly off tonight, with the backing a little stronger than usual. This included the video clips. Of course, an arena is not as good acoustically as the theatre they were in last night in Nashville.

Al did great tonight. TONS of energy. Nice spot in Lovr where he snuck into the lower level seats instead of staying on the floor. In Canadian Idiot, picking the mic stand upside down for the Green Day spot. He seemed to definitely have more rest than the show yesterday.

The lights were perfect for You Make Me here. They also keep finding cool effects for other songs. Interesting to see them experimenting from show to show on new stuff they can do with the extra lights.

They had the Weird Al logo from the book and what they used on Cupcake Wars on the video screen as the crowd was coming in. They also had the side lights on the video screen shining on the logo. Made a really cool vibe, just like a big rock n' roll show from other bands. They also put the logo up in between Fat and the encore. Very neat effect.

Coffee shop was Picasso's on North Main Street.

The entire episode of Cupcake Wars played as people were coming in, or just some clips?

Sorry, no, no no. I was just referencing what the Weird Al logo is. In case, some didn't know what I was talking about. They just had the Weird Al logo up on the video screen with the side lights on the screen shining blue light on it. Same as between Fat and the encore.

Oh cool. Interesting - has Al ever had an official logo before, other than whatever font he happened to use on his latest album?

Not that I know of. Other than the CPFOA and Al-TV logos, I believe that his first one debuted when the book came out.
