Wow, I have commented, but have not been blocked. There is one comment that I made that is still up on their page. Of course, it's in the section called "Recent Posts By Others on Battle Creek Bombers" - It's in the Lansing State Journal thread. They posed the question "Would you eat a Twinkie Dog?" Someone posted the clip from UHF, and the very last comment in the thread (so far) is mine. So, unless they take another look at that thread, comments referencing Al or Twinkie Wiener Sandwiches might stay up.

Btw, I'd wear a t-shirt with your design on it, Mike.

Hey folks, I think the best thing that can be done about this is to reach out to Good Morning America and flood them with calls or emails. If so, they may issue a correction tomorrow or later in the week. That, I'd say, would be the best possible outcome since it's clear the BC Bombers have no intention of giving credit where due.

Please post it here if anyone can find a phone number or another means to contact GMA. If you have two minutes, click the above link and comment that Weird Al invented the Twinkie Weiner Sandwich 25 years ago and he should be given credit for the invention, not the BC Bombers.

I also posted a comment under the video over at GMA/Yahoo! News. One other person commented before me, also stating that Al invented the sandwich. We''ll see what happens now.

Al tweeted this RIGHT when I had a class to go to, but when I came back and saw this, I dialed anyway. First, it just rang and rang so I hung up. Then, I got abusy signal and realized Al tweeted this an hour ago and must've been on his flight already.
