I'm back! And to celebrate I made a YouTube channel!
To kick off my YouTube channel I recorded some new stuff!
Beer Barrel Polka
My version of Lollipop by Lil Wayne (yes, it's clean)
I've decided since I don't have a lot of time to record multitrack songs, I'll make videos on YouTube! I'll still do multitrack stuff, but I'm really going to get into YouTube. I'm going to be posting parodies and polka versions of hit songs. I may also cover My Bologna, too.

Thanks! I plan on covering a lot more songs. Rap, rock and anything else that would be funny!

Re: The That One Guy Topic
Has it really been since February of 2009 since my last post?!
Out of nowhere I thought, "Hey, I should check out WOWAY". I like checking back here every now and then to see what's going on. And sorry to keep posting in my own topic, but it seems appropriate
I haven't really done much with music since my last post about the YouTube channel. I did lend my vocals for friend's Capstone video project he did for college which can be seen on his channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=da-V5VKcKH4&feature=plcp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I still have a YouTube channel dedicated to my music: http://www.youtube.com/MattHodgsonOnline" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I also have a personal YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/thatoneguyonline" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
My personal channel It's mostly about boring stuff, like plant based diets. I have a couple diet related song parodies I did, though:
*A parody of My Sherona called Blendtec Blender that I entered into a contest (and won): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_FAymL8nOA&feature=plcp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
* A parody of Closing Time called Blending Time (alternate entry): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61uuyA6Nreg&feature=plcp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm in a much different place then I was back in my WOWAY prime (1955 being played on Dr. Demento). I'm really into veganism now and that's kind of where my energy is focused at this time. I've also been single for almost 2 years, which I'm still trying to get used to. And, I'm trying to make a living doing what I went to college for. I started having a "real job" right after the 1955 stuff and have been stuck in boring cubicle world every since. I ended up selling ALL my recording equipment a few years ago, hence the video stuff on YouTube. I would really like to get back into my hobby of making Al-like song parodies, but it's not really a possibility right now. I would like to think that someday I'll buy even better equipment than I had and make even better song parodies. I'll let you guys know if that ever happens.

Thanks, anthontherun!
minnick27, I don't have an official .com site anymore.
I do have a personal FaceBook: http://www.facebook.com/matt.hodgson.946" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
* My old personal MySpace page is still up: http://www.myspace.com/matthewhodgson" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
* My old artist MySpace page is still up: http://www.myspace.com/matthodgson" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Jace! Haha, thanks. I would like to get back into it sometime in the future.
I still play the accordion all the time. I still hear parody lyrics in my head when I listen to songs. And I still stretch my voice out high when I sing. So I've still "got it", I'm just not recording anything at this time. If / when I get back into I'll post about it.

OH SNAP! MATT!!!!!!! I'm glad to see you're still around. A while back, Jace and I were wondering about you, man! Here's hoping you can get back to making music, man. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, as far as producing stuff goes. In fact, I'm working with a few people to get a few instrumentals out for a couple of songs I've wanted to do, since 2008, but couldn't, due to lack of resources.
