A retro concert would be fun although he would have to cut his hair and wear glasses and grow a mustache....

ON a kids point of view - I think they kinda like the songs in and of themselves not b/c they necessarily know the original. That is how my son is. The songs stand as they are for him not b/c they are some clever parody of another song. I do make sure he at least hears the original song so he has some reference and can appreciate it even more....I mean you can't know Yoda but never hear Lola!

I've yet to hear 'Lola', and I'm close to 30.

Here ya go - cut and paste!

OK - serious question - do close up tix (ie the presale rows) usually come back up available if they are not sold out? Ia sk this b/c in the Knoxville Tn 2010 show, I kept looking and only seats available were wayyyyy in the back and then one day some kept popping up in rows c, d, e. So, I bought. Is that normal? Anyone know? Last year I bought from the presale. I did not do that for the Winery show this August b/c I was not 100% sure we were doing the CAli trip. Now we are and the presale is OVER! Do I hold out for better tix to come back available or is that a long shot depending on venue, sales etc? Just trying to hedge my bets here......

Thanks!!

I think it depends on the venue. Some do seem to have good tickets crop up later in the process, but I don't know of any way of knowing.

So Al tweeted that all the dates for the west coast leg of the Alpocalypse Tour have now been announced. The west coast leg takes place during the month of August and covers 16 U.S. cities. Does anyone predict anything else this year in terms of touring for Alpocalpyse, or do you think this is it?

I think a fall 2012 tour of Canada would be nice. :F

Yeah, A Canadian tour might be likely, but im not so sure. When Was the last time he was there, anyways?
Anywho, Hopefully He'll come back out my way to MA and other east coast Cities. It might be a likely place (the East Coast) where He'll close out the tour.

I'm thinking the August dates might be all we have for a while.

Still, Al hasn't toured outside of North America with Alpocalypse; the UK and Australia only got the Internet Leaks tour.
