I thought it was a good sketch. Jay Pharoah is amazing.

Re: Weird Al Mentions
I'm watching SNL right now as usual, and Andy Samberg just did a "Weird Al" Yankovic impression that I can only describe as "offensively sh*tty". Although he does claim to be somewhat of a fan, I hope there is something more there. Also, Garth and Kat on Update AGAIN? Like I said last week, Wiig goddamn well better be leaving.

So I guess I didn't miss much? The sketch doesn't seem to have made the cut for the web version of the April 14 show.

Re: Weird Al Mentions
NBC/Hulu usually don't post sketches that contain music, so you'll probably have to find it via 'unofficial' measures or wait for the rerun.

Re: Weird Al Mentions
I have no idea where to post this but this seems like a great spot. Has anyone else in this forum seen the T.V program "Top Gear?" Well, the show is about cars and one of their segments is "small car, big star" and I would love to see Al as one of the stars on the program. How cool would it be to see our pal Al race around a track? I think it would be awesome! I was hoping that other fans would think this idea was awesome too and I would like to stat an online petition to send to the producers and see if we as his fans can make this come true. So this is my pitch and please let me know how you guys think and see if this is something that sounds like a good idea. Another thing that we would also have to consider is id Al would even agree to doing it.

Re: Weird Al Mentions
To the haters: could they have done more with the Weird Al character in this sketch? Yes. But the sketch was more about Jay-Z and how often that song is parodied. If anything, it proves Andy Samberg can play that character and maybe he'll be back in some skit where everyone in the cast just does a random impression of someone.

I don't have cable. But I do have Hulu and Netflix. Though, I haven't seen it yet. And I just CAN'T imagine Andy Samberg as Al. It just doesn't work out in my head.
Al's working on Album #14 RIGHT NOW (kinda)!!!!

Re: Weird Al Mentions
I always imagined Bill Hader would get the chance to play Al on SNL...and that Jay-Z song must be parodied so often that SNL just had to risk making themselves look slightly dated by choosing to satirize it, but who can blame them?
