Looks like Al will doing an interview show for Chris Hardwick's Nerdist channel. Here is the "press conference"

I was just about to give this a thread...lol. Another link somewhere (that I can't find for the life of me right now) says that Al will be conducting interviews "in an unusual way" where the participant "doesn't know they're being interviewed". Well, that sounds all to familiar and if this is any indication...it's pretty obvious now why we haven't seen a new edition of AL-TV for "Alpocalypse" yet. Maybe he had to discontinue AL-TV and it resulted in him having to save any planned "interviews" for this new Nerdist show.

Nice that we'll have plenty of new material for updated video clips during this summer's concerts.

We don't know for sure that this new material will be used interstitially. It all depends on the agreement Al has worked out with Chris.

They're friends, though, so I doubt there'd be much of an exclusivity problem. I think the channel is just an outlet to help get some more promotion behind this new AlTV. Either way, there's tons of TV appearances, online clips, etc., to use as well.

I gotta say that despite Al and Chris being friends he probably wont use those clips because the show wont have started when he starts his tour. I know he has changed clips midtour before, but I'd say he's going to leave it alone. But I agree that al has had plenty of appearances since last tour, and I see most of them being brought in. Id love to see LAS brought back with HIMYM as an intro. Although that may take away from the effect of WaN's intro

When does this show start? I thought I saw that it started April 2.

I also really like that idea for LAS Mike. I'm sure that clip will be included either way.
