Re: Weird Al Survivor IX - Chitchat Thread
Since this is a symbolic vote, why is this a hold up?
Unless there's a future twist regarding part of the outcome

You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Re: the non-WOWAY judges, it's basically because I would consider a solid percentage of the cast to be easily recognizable in our little universe and you don't want it to be like, "Look, it's Dave! Hey, wait a minute--he still owes me money. What a jerk! No points for them!"
Any other instance in which we'll need outside help, we'll turn to WOWAY members. In fact, I just PMd several of them the other day.

Now that the results have been published, could you please share the parody lyrics and video that were submitted?

Sorry for all the craziness, guys. I'm out of town and trying to post all this from a tablet. Very frustrating.

Re: Weird Al Survivor IX - Chitchat Thread
Time for a quick poll of the players (and anyone watching who wishes to chime in)...
Somebody mentioned me in their "blog" for this round (keep sending 'em in, everyone!) that, while they like having separate forums for each tribe, there isn't a whole lot of interaction between the tribes. I'll admit, this was partially by design, and speaking as someone who can read both tribe forums, I'm pretty happy with the current format. But it's not my game; it's the players', and I want to maximize your enjoyment.
The suggestion was to create a neutral Survivor forum in which there would be more opportunities to get everyone together (viewable by all players and audience members). Separate threads for each challenge, Tribal Council, and other discussion topics. There are definitely some pros to this approach: not only would it be easier to read and keep track of everything, but it'd probably be a lot easier to archive an entire "Survivor 9" section than to have all the post-merge stuff be stuffed into two threads and the tribal stuff all over the place.
So let me know what you think and we'll see what we can set up. And of course I'm always curious to know your thoughts on how the game is being run and whatnot--I can't promise that we'll be able to modify everything immediately (the night Killingsworth was kidnapped, I immediately thought of a tweak that I think would really improve the concept but it was too late to implement it since the rules were already explained--though I do like the basic idea of what we're currently attempting at least) but it'll definitely all come in handy for future seasons, so constructively criticize away.

I think the game is being run just fine right now, so good job Anth. I'm a bit torn on the idea of one survivor forum instead of two. I mean, being able to see the other tribes' business kind of takes the mystery out of it, but then again, I am always curious to see how any challenge went down with the other tribe AFTER the tribal council and everything has been done. So, I guess it could go either way for me personally but ultimately it's your call Anth. What do you guys think?

Re: Weird Al Survivor IX - Chitchat Thread
Today I admitted to my girlfriend that I'm involved in a Weird Al Survivor forum reality game. It felt good to get that off my chest.
