During a nap today, I dreamt that I was going to attend a concert at a school gymnasium barely bigger than a large classroom. There were detailed tape markings on the floor to show where the band members would be positioned. I was thinking, wow, this is going to be such a close-up, intimate concert... this will be amazing... but I woke up before anything happened.

I don't understand why I keep having dreams about concerts in strange, small places and/or that have no stage! This must be remedied by having a dream about a huge sold out arena... AND getting to see Al and the band afterward...

OK subconscious dreaming brain, do your work. ;)

Well, your dream is better than my last one, which involved some boys who were friends of a much-older-than-she-really-is Nina coming over to my house and deciding to practice lighting their camp stove indoors, right next to my curtains. :onfire:

Oh, and before the curtains got set ablaze, I got to peek out and watch Al making an "extra feature" for the next album.

Yipes. Well, hopefully the extra feature for the new album didn't go up in smoke along with the curtains. :)

And may I just say that I hope Al's next album comes out WAY before Nina is old enough to date. Or drive.

Last night I dreamt I was looking over Al's shoulder as he was paging through a coffee table book of Patti's cookies.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

You were sitting next to him telling the cookie anecdotes. I don't remember any details beyond that, but when I woke up I was a little surprised you hadn't brought actual cookies.

It`s crazy. I dreamt Al had a show in my home city (which is nowhere as great as Montreal, so basically it`s too improbable to happen), in the best show place downtown (called J.Antonio-Thompson).
He did a good number of his songs from Alpocalypse and from his past albums (the usual ones, Wann B Ur LuvR and the others in that fashion - I don`t remember if I dreamt him sing Albuquerque). When the show was about to end, he offered a small treat to Canadians themselves, by parodying a song by Arcade Fire, and at the very end, I was surprised to hear him sing a whole French song (it was just a minute long but still...). He had a strong American accent, but he really did awesome, if I recall.

And I drived, talking with my blue teeth
My boyfreind told me don't cree
Come to my houss, don't worraye,
we'll talk about this togeedurr."
