Glad that he answered my question of the hardest live aspect. Also, happy that it was a question that actually made him think a bit. That was the answer that I expected, though, of the voice. Anyway, definitely a great Q&A. Wish the host had turned up his mic a little, though.

Darn, i would love to see him on DWTS. But that was a good interview, I like longer interviews where he can actually talk about things extensivly. The craziest gift story was really quite odd and disturbing

Wasn't able to tune into this. Any news broken or interesting nuggets of trivia at least?

Well, he didn't answer either of my questions but it was still fun to watch. Aside from "Dancing With The Stars" and the odd gifts, there were no real earth shattering revelations we haven't heard.

Now the big Al news story will be that he turned down Dancing With The Stars. I got a few google alerts about him turning it down. Hmmm, maybe there will be a Lady Gaga effect here and people will now bother him until he says yes lol

I asked the most unusual gift question and was SO thrilled that he actually answered it!!!! Did not expect it to be chosen... so grateful!!! One got the impression that he has received lots more unusual gifts and that this was just the tip of the iceberg. For those who didn't see it, he answered that, off the top of his head, he once got sent a voodoo cat doll with chicken bones inside of it and also once got somebody's garbage that they were throwing away. That is kinda disturbing, but Al and the interviewer laughed anyway... gotta take it all in stride!

Was also interested in the reality TV stuff, especially the fact that he had been approached by someone for a reality show about finding the next Weird Al ("I'm still Weird Al... why would I want to find the next Weird Al?")

What??? He didn't appreciate that bag full of trash I gave him??!! Ungrateful :censored: :stern: I've been saving another one all summer for him. Extra stinky as it's been really hot and rainy here too.

Cool interview, nice to see some familiar names get some questions answered. I don't watch DWTS, but I'm really surprised he would turn down something like that. He would do well on the right reality show. Besides the good big career boost and all that, it would also help with his choreography on stage and for videos. I've seen a lot of interviews with celebs who had no desire/dancing ability that went on the show and said it was a great experience.

I'm with you on that one, Dave. DWTS would actually be a reality show that I'd be OK with Al going on. It doesn't seem to be as much of a has-been thing as a lot of the other "celebrity" reality shows are, and I think it would drum up some great publicity and benefit him. On the other hand, I certainly respect his desire to avoid reality shows.

He would probably get the dances real quick too. I like seeing him on competition game show like things becasue you can tell he really gets into it and wants to win which he usually does. Maybe since he does not watch reality tv he doesnt know what kind of show it is and thinks its a trashy reality show.
