Hopefully there will be shows added between Oct 1 thru this Oct 5. If so, I'll most definitely be here. If not, I should be here anyway. I love Universal. And the Hard Rock is in their CityWalk area. Sounds like a fun night.

Bought my ticket for this. Got a great seat. Third row in front of Jim. This should be much better than my seat last time that was way far off to the right in the second row.

Bought two pre-sale tix. Not sure which seats i'm in yet as the tickets don't come to the house until two weeks prior to showtime. Excited!

Al did You Make Me tonight. The coffee shop during Craigslist was the Drunken Monkey on Bumby Ave. There was a slight line flub during eBay again, as Al didn't say "I'll buy", but just went into what he would buy. Very live crowd tonight. Skipper Dan got a really great reaction in Orlando. They had a neat set-up with the lights due to stage configuration, and it provided some neat angles that aren't usually provided. Al wore the old hawaiian fossil shirt again for the first part of the show. Really cool to see that shirt come back, as it's what my left Al-TV shoe's design comes from. Have always loved that shirt. Sat in front of Jim and got some great shots, as there weren't any restrictions on pictures. Hard Rock was a really fun place to be at tonight.

Great show by all last night! I snuck backstage and got to meet Al for the first time, and got my 'Peter and the Wolf' CD signed. The crowd was really into the show, at least that was my opinion. Lots of fun during 'Wanna Be UR Lovr,' and 'You Make Me' was a great surprise. No new songs during that parody medley, but I was happy to hear 'Spam' live for the first time.

Wow...I can see sneaking into meet-n'-greets at theaters, but how do you do that at the Hard Rock, where security is tight?

Yeah if Jeremy hadn't figured out how to sneak in somewhere it must be difficult. Smiley face.

Its pretty easy getting backstage if you have long hair and a piece of musical equiptment. You just say your a roadie or something and you MUST get back there to see so and so, and security being not all that smart most of the time will most likely let you go back. Done that many, many times for different bands and also did it in Verona, never seems to fail.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

There were a bunch of people standing around with backstage stickers on. When they started letting them in, I mingled with the group, with one person between me and security, who had turned to look at another person's pass. Once through that door and onto the elevator that went down to the VIP lounge, I draped my souvenir t-shirt over my shoulder, covering where the pass sticker would have been. The guard in the elevator didn't look that hard at people, either. Once we were led to the room, I just kind of hung out unobtrusively. I spoke briefly to Steve Jay a few moments, but he was visiting with a family friend (who I'd met while we were waiting). Other members of the band arrived, but I didn't want to be THAT GUY and interrupt their conversations with my autograph pleas. When Al arrived, the escorting guard said that we could form a line for autographs and pictures. Al chuckled when I asked him to make the autograph out to 'Winning eBay Bidder.' Then I made my way out and met up with my loving wife, who did not make it backstage, but patiently waited for me outside the venue.
From what I could tell, there was at least one other person who managed to get back there, pretty much the same way I did.
