Comedy Central Special, DVD/Blu-Ray Release

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

I have to respectfully disagree here. I don't think anyone should be pitied for not being able to get this album if their reason is that they are actively tourchasing Al at the time of its release. He is already seeing that exact show live in front of his own eyes.
What he said. Actual live show, always the best choice. And the DVD will still be there when you run out of concert tickets.

Well...sorry to burst your bubble, Jon...but I picked up a DVD today. The only reason that I didn't get one yesterday was because I thought I'd give Al a chance to let me buy directly from him, since I'm sure he'd get more from those sales, then from one I bought at WalMart. Which is what I did today in Orlando. Never asked anyone to feel sorry for me either, but thanks Big Spoon!

On the DVD front, I haven't watched it all yet, but from what I have seen, it is amazing! Of course we watched the Lovr. I'm soo glad that they picked the one from the 2nd show that Mom got sung to. Also, I can spot myself in the overview audience shots, but also found a couple close-up shots of which I'm in. So, take that gorgonzola. If they didn't want me in the DVD, they didn't do a very good job of it...haha.

I'm pretty sure he is referring to the interview you did with Wayne Isham, which Al, reportedly, told Isham not to use.

I like during the keyboard intro for Spam when Steve looks up to light. Then slaps into it, so awesome!

OoOh...I missed out on that memo that Al sent out, Ryan....btw, the interview wasn't with Wayne, it was with a couple of the TV crew guys. Wayne told them to do it, though. They also took pics and video of my jersey, CNR shirt and Al-TV shoes. They were really impressed that everything was signed. Then, one of the TV crew guys wanted to get a picture with me.

As cool as it would be to be featured on Al release, it really doesn't make any sense, and would look really stupid, to include anything like that as an extra feature without other accompanying concert special features or behind-the-scenes footage. I'm sure that that's all that it came down to.

Anyway, with that point aside, it's a really well-shot concert feature. Definitely a whole world better than the last Live concert DVD.

Huh? If Al didn't want your interview to be on the BD, why would he send out a memo about it to the fans? He would be much more likely to just email, text, or tell Wayne in person. And if he did for some reason send out a memo to all the fans saying that your interview wasn't going to be featured on the BD, he obviously wouldn't have included you on the memo since it was a memo written about you. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

I only want to say that even actors who get paid find themselves on the cutting room floor all the time. That's just the entertainment business.
