It doesn't seem like there is the same flow to the beginning of the concert with the new video clip set-up. There's a slight bit of disconnect between the end of the video and the start of the polka. It is also really short. It felt to me like that was just done due to the Live Recording. Since, he can use that, and wouldn't be able to use the channel flipping video. Personally, I like the shorter video clips since it meant an extra song in You Make Me and Bass Solo for Steve. Although, it wouldn't surprise me if Al went back to the regular opening for the Fall tour. It wouldn't even totally surprise me if they had the channel flipping, then the Alpocalypse trailer, then the polka. Although, I definitely wouldn't be in favor of even more video. One or the other suffices.

But Jeremy, the other DVD didn't have the intro, so I don't believe that the video had anything to do with it. It is possible though. But weren't they saying this tour would be different than other tours? Cutting down the intro would be a change.

Instead of the channel hopping introducing Al, the other DVD had Nick and Mary Yankovic introduce their boy Alfred. Can't really do that this time...

The intro is short, I bet it will be on the DVD this time. Can't imagine how else they'd start it.

Yes but it's a quick second from the shot of him holding the accordion in the video to him coming out and starting the Polka, so I don't see why they wouldn't show it.
