So are we going to have to make a Bill Plympton song? We take the videos he made to Al songs and make a new song just to match the videos?

Here's a crazy, wild,strange idea...maybe Al LIKES that video!

Also, "hands off" doesn't mean uncritically accepting the end results. For all we know some of those videos might have been sent back to the animators once or twice for "revisions" before the final product was produced. After all,there are these things called storyboards.

Yeah I know Al makes the final decision in the end and all that. And I am well aware that Bill P. can make a real crazy, odd, bizarre video but it just doesn't seem like Al's style. Remember how he always was in the past? His style of humor wasn't just bizarre but kooky as well. With subtle jokes in the background (huge example of what I mean: Like a Surgeon). Obviously these artists are big fans of Al's work and know him well. Shouldn't they be able to tell based on the past what Al was going for?

Call me over nostalgic or afraid of change. Call me what you will. That's just my opinion. Although I will admit Al even said himself once on The View that he's not as "Weird" as he used to be.
