9/30/11 Nashville, TN - Ryman Auditorium

Well, I'm definitely going to this show.

They Might be Giants, Jonathan Coulton, and Weird Al are playing shows in the same city within the same three days. It's too much awesomeness to handle.

Oooh Jeremy has a friend!! I'm kidding Jeremy. I would love to go to this show, always wanted to go to Nashville, and a show at the Ryman would be neat

Got my ticket for this show. Almost direct middle of the auditorium. Main Floor, Section 4, Row L, Seat 6. The pre-sale really isn't giving out that great of tickets, but I took this since it was dead center and an aisle seat. So, if something extremely great opens up, I'll be able to get that and Mom can have an aisle seat with a should-be perfect view.

Anyway, if someone wants to try this pre-sale, the password is the obligatory pre-sale password of...POLKA.

Although, I have a feeling that better tickets are going to open up when they go on general sale Friday morning.

Amazing show, crowd was insane the whole night. One of the best crowds that I've ever seen. Al did You Make Me tonight. I think it's interesting that whenever they do You Make Me, that they switch up the order of TMZ and play it as the 2nd song. However, it definitely makes sense, as Al needs the accordion on the Polka and TMZ. The backing seemed to be a little late on You Make Me, but they got it started after one of the first riffs. Bermuda also seemed a little late on the first 'Yeah', in Another Tattoo, as the mic wasn't down in position. The coffee shop tonight was Cafe Coco on Louise Street. Most important of all, though, is that the Yoda Chant now has a true name. Al did the 'Now only You' thing at the end of Yoda, and the person in the front row wouldn't sing. Al said "We're waiting...SING...Come on, do it...You're making me angry...You wouldn't like me when I'm angry..." then, "OK, you leave me no choice, because of YOU, we're now going to do the 'Non-Participation Death Chant', then they did the Chant.
