And with that, Al is off the Countdown Contenders. It's pretty disappointing that this video didn't place somewhere in the Top 20.

Was he on the countdown contenders? I went a little bit agoand he was still eligable for voting so I will continue to hope until he is off the choices.

Not in the Top 23 this week. Yeah, as along as he is still listed, we can still vote and hope.

Not quite on topic, but Al was mentioned on VH1 last night. They're airing a special all week called "The 100 Greatest Songs of the '00s", and somewhere in the 80s, Chamillionaire's "Ridin" was being talked about. One of the comics on the show mentioned that "Ridin" was so great it inspired an even better song, "White and Nerdy", and they then proceeded to show about 30 seconds of the video by Al.
