And Al was just on Joy Behar's show a few months ago so either she does not pay attention to things or she just reads what someone puts in front of her face

I wondered if you fine folks would go nuts over the "Where are they Now" thing. I thought that at first, too, but you know, this is something Al has been dealing with for quite a long time(people thinking he went somewhere and then came back). Also, we always have to remember that these appearances, as some have already said, are for GENERAL audiences and always will be. Hard core fans rarely get catered to and that's something we have to be used to-whether it's Al your a fan of or anything/anyone else. I loved Al being excited about his smokin' hot wife(LOL) and I like how the audience got into the performance.

I don't watch The View at all (I'm normally at work or just not at home), but was gonna watch this as I thought it was tomorrow.

However, at work, I kept getting Facebook newsfeeds from Ruben about being on The View. He seemed really excited.

No matter what you think of the show, it is a show that is on a major network and gets lots of viewers. That in and of itself is worth Al's appearance.

Definitely agreed with that. Between this and the two Fallon appearances, Al's gotten alot of 'mainstream' coverage, so to speak. That in itself is great.
