I'm leaving tomorrow morning for this and am so excited!

At 400 miles and 7.5 hours, it will be the longest I've ever traveled to an Al show. Rigged up the ol' station wagon to accommodate mattresses and sheets since I can't afford a hotel and will be staying at the beautiful scenic Letchworth State Park. Should be loads of fun! I'll post pics!

I talked my buddy Kenneth into coming with me. It's his 3rd Al show (He saw 1 on the Lynwood Tour and 1 in 2010) so he's excited about the new set list. I couldn't convince him to bring potato skins, pickled wieners, homemade rhubarb pie, and diet chocolate soda though so we opted for Cheeze-Its, Potato Chips, Chewy Bars, Fruit, and Fuze instead. We'll still listen to Twine Ball a few times on the drive, I'm sure.

Got back from the show, fantastic set and performance from Al and the band. Very pleased, better than the show at Turning Stone last year for me. The only song i really missed was Dare To Be Stupid. Losing You're Pitiful didn't bother me much at all. The parody medley was amazing, and the new stuff (TMZ, Party In The CIA, Perform This Way) made the set all the better!

I agree 100%. I was also at the turning stone show last year and this one was a lot better (not to say last year's show was bad or anything). I enjoyed the new songs and really did miss dare to be stupid. I enjoyed the various star war characters onstage at the end. I thought it was amazing.
