We managed to get good seats, had an absolute blast, found the tour buses by pure accident, and got autographs. Even though our camera with all 400 or so pictures and video of Yoda got stolen, we got our stuff back from pawn. My hubby is as big an Al fan as I am, and had never been to a concert of any kind before.

Totally worth it.
You have my current vote for the Cutting It Really Close Award. And hey, we were both at that concert. HOT and humid. I don't know how Al even managed to perform in that weather. Wish I'd met you. I coulda. I was out there by the tour buses too.

That Boca Raton meet was probably my favorite after-show experience. If not my favorite, definitely one of them. Such a memorable night. Wish that I would have met you there, as well. Even though, I think I did meet you previously at a concert a few years earlier in FL. My mind was way off in other places that night.

I drove six hours to see Al on the SOL tour. It was the closest he was coming to my area...

The craziest thing I've ever done to see Weird Al was probably skip the first day of my internship. It was the summer of 2006 and I had just moved to Los Angeles for my internship semester in college. The first day of my internship on set was also the day I was called back to be an extra in White & Nerdy. I think I told them our school's orientation continued a day longer than I expected and no one ever knew. I got to be in the video, and I went back to work the next day. The only problem was everyone at the set knew each other but me, and it was awkward for a few days.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Payed for two hotel rooms, 4 tickets (for two people to bail out), all the gas money, to see them in Verona last month. Was completely worth it, and am so happy I didn't have to miss out on that show or my chance to meet Al and the guys!
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Fred you are quite an inspiration. I love how you overcome so many hurdles to get to do what you want to do... No quitter AT ALL!
