Looks like the closest thing we're going to get this time to an internet leak

Psssssh.
That's not how the internet works. This album will leak. Could be tomorrow, or it could be just 2 days before the release date. But it will leak. In fact, the previews being up shows that the possibility of the leak is even stronger now, because it means that certain places now have the album in possession.

Oh, TMZ is most definitely much faster than the original. I've been listening to the Taylor Swift song a LOT lately, and it's definitely not that fas. It's especially noticeable during the instrumental bit of that clip. But like I said, it's standard for Al to speed up his parodies, so I'm not at all surprised. I just think it's a little TOO fast for that particular song, weirdojace wrote:TMZ and Party in the CIA don't sound like he varied the speed much to me, but he did lower the keys of them.Bruce the Duck wrote:Listened to the samples - my quick thoughts:
TMZ - Sounds way too fast for me. I know all the songs are sped up slightly, but this one sounds just way too fast. Gotta hear the rest to see for sure.
Party in the CIA - Looks like it's from the perspective of a CIA agent and not the organization as a whole. Should be good. Is it me or is Al's voice auto-tuned in this one?

Well for the past few months I've been pinpointing the actual leak to happen sometime between the 8 and the 15, so we'll still have to wait and see.

Re: (spoiler) ALPOCALYPSE FULL TRACKLIST!!!!
I went ahead and listened to the clips. Here are my first reactions...
TMZ - I was a little disappointed to hear Al change key, but still his version sounds quite well done. The lyrics seem pretty tame, but I'll wait to see where else the song goes. I'm guessing this song is based on Al's personal experience!
Polka Face - Even though it's basically what I expected from the concert, I like the way it turned out.
Party In The CIA - As I expected, Al lowered the key quite a bit. This literally made me cringe at first, but I'm sure it will grow on me and that Al's lyrics will knock it out of the park.
Another Tattoo - This appears to be about a guy addicted to getting tattoos. What I heard was pretty great, even though it sounded a little strange at first. This will definitely be growing on me.
If That Isn't Love - I'm not so sure about this one, based on the lyrics I heard. It doesn't sound like "Thinkin' Bout Somethin" or "Give A Little", so I guess he was going for early to mid period Hanson here. The lyrics seem a little mundane, but I'd like to see what this one builds to.
Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me - I was expecting this to be longer, but it sounds great nonetheless. I guess this was the "ballad" Bermuda referred to. I can see how some would think it's a Meatloaf parody, but I could see how it could be a possible Beatles pastiche. I can also see how this part is building to something that heavily involves the band.
Also, I took a good hard look at the deluxe package that was posted and here's who appears to be doing which unreleased video out of the remaining animators.
Cris Shapan - Whatever You Like
Brian Fisk - If That Isn't Love
Augenblick Studios - Another Tattoo
Ghostbot - Party In The CIA
Koos Dekker - Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me
Once again, it looks like the only one I predicted correctly was the one I backpedaled on.

It reminded me greatly of Meat Loaf, and then when Marko posted that particular song it totally fit. I'm sure the rest will play out to be very much Meat Loaf.

Re: (spoiler) ALPOCALYPSE FULL TRACKLIST!!!!
I dont know if anyone else did it but I wrote on Al's facebook wall that this was on Amazon. Which now that i think about it was kinda dumb cuz i just basically told everyone who looks at his site that it was on there lol. I would have told Bermuda but he has not accepted my friend request yet(even though i requested at least a week ago and all the other guys accepted a day or 2 later but o well) and i did not want to go onto each of the band guys pages to write it. I figure once is enough

Well the previews are still there, so maybe Al doesn't really care if people hear them this time around.

Jeeeeze.... as I'm doing my daily rounds of searching for more complete info on Alpocalypse, theres at the very least 12 different websites talking about this fabled second lady gaga parody, and every single article is dated for today... what a bunch of dumbaxxes!!!!
Also, starting the 9th in the regular forum, I am going to be giving my personal review of all 12 ALbums, one day at a time until the release date of Alpocalypse... this is going down in the books guys, stay tuned.

Re: (spoiler) ALPOCALYPSE FULL TRACKLIST!!!!
I agree with Bruce that Al's version is faster. How much faster is hard to tell, since Al's version is only 12 seconds faster than Taylor's according to iTunes, but it's definitely noticeable. I didn't find it a distraction to me, but of course that's a highly subjective opinion and I can understand why Bruce would feel it's too fast, especially after multiple plays of the original.Bruce the Duck wrote:Oh, TMZ is most definitely much faster than the original.
