Yeah, the new package looks awesome! I would have ordered for Lancaster, but it said the seats were in the left or right orchestra, so I decided to hold out for the regular sale to see if I can get center section.

I was tempted too but opted instead to oder the next best in hopes of catching a center seat in first 12 rows.Elvis wrote:Yeah, the new package looks awesome! Looking for something close but NOT right on stage like in Verona.
I was blinded by Al's pastey white legs during Skipper Dan!

He has to spend time hiding, so he doesn't go blind from all the pictures people ask him to take.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Ordered the new VIP for the 8PM Toronto show. Figure the might be taking most of the footage from that show, after they learn what to look for at the 3PM show. Going to get regular tickets for the 3PM show with aisle tickets for mom, as well as, getting her an aisle ticket for the the 8PM show. Hopefully she may get sung to during Lovr if he's able to do that.
Got a VIP for the Verona show, as well from the old VIP selection. Glad to see some nice new merch available. Looks really cool.

Re: The VIP Topic (What it includes what it doesn't)
I received my VIP tickets for the June 10 concert in Chandler, AZ by UPS today. Terrific seats: Section 102 Seats A-7 and A-8. Still no word on when I will receive the accompanying merchandise and if it will be the original or the upgraded items. I'm hoping to find out before the concert because we gave away all our trading cards from last year so I would get more at the concert if I knew they wouldn't be in the already purchased items.

I'm pretty sure that the merchandise for the shows from this tour is going to be the old merchandise(VIP Laminate, Trading Cards, 8x10, Magnets). The first tour I saw the new merchandise offered for was OC. I'm glad that they dropped their procedure for that show of having to buy two VIP tickets to get all the merchandise.

It really does look amazing. Can't wait to see how good the quality actually turns out to be. Also, especially like the ticket envelope. It'll be nice to finally have an official Al envelope to store my tickets in rather than just a generic torn-up TicketMaster one.

Haha, usually I'm in a spot where I can't really see his feet. Good to know his costume for Skipper Dan is head-to-toe realistic. He's sporting our "Disney look" black polishable shoes and white socks for shorts (black socks for long pants). If you ever go to Disneyland in the near future... look at every Cast Members' feet. 99% of us have to wear Disney look shoes. I never noticed when I was younger!Ali(son) wrote:I was tempted too but opted instead to oder the next best in hopes of catching a center seat in first 12 rows.Elvis wrote:Yeah, the new package looks awesome! Re: The VIP Topic (What it includes what it doesn't)
Got the VIP Package with the new items in it today, although it didn't include the ticket envelope. My ticket was unable to be shipped due to the postal strike in Canada. It said in the description that the ticket would arrive in the ticket envelope, so maybe that's why I didn't get it. Possibly they'll have it at Will Call in Toronto, but I'm not placing any hope on it. If I don't get it there, though, I'll call and go through Paid's hellish service.
Anyway, the quality of the VIP items that I did get was nice. 3 really good 8x10's of the album art. The collector's sheet for the album and the signed 11x14 pic of the album front cover was nice. The kind of paper that it is printed on, though, kind of broke up Al's signature a tad. Although, I have plenty of autographs from Al. The date and numbering was nice, although, it was clear that someone from Paid did that later, as it didn't look like Al's writing. Only thing that I was disappointed in, besides not getting the ticket envelope, was the quality of the folder. I was expecting it to at least have the gold foil on the "Weird Al" Yankovic, but it was just printed on there. The red Alpocalypse lettering was kind of embossed. Then, the paper was just colored to look leathery instead of the folder actually being leathery itself.
Cool package, though, and they did give me an old VIP laminate to make up for not having the ticket envelope, I guess.
