Upon getting to the bus I had Al sign my cousin's birthday present (a copy of When I Grow Up), and told him I had met him a few times before thanking him for tweeting about me back in January. I then proceeded to show him the tattoo. He got really excited upon seeing it and remarked about how great it had come out. He quickly remembered that a reporter from the New York Times had been there earlier, and immediately grabbed me and jumped out of the bus to look for the reporter to show him my leg. Someone from Al's management told us the reporter had just left so we quickly went back to the bus. He proceeded to tell me that he'd love to include the tattoo in the coffee table book coming out next year and I should take some high quality pics and e-mail them. Bermuda quickly walked over and gave me his e-mail address (to send the pics too), also wanting to know if the tattoo had been drawn from a picture. I told him it was pieced together out of a bunch of photographs and he seemed impressed. Overall, this was the longest I ever got to talk to Al, and was elated that Al seemed just as excited to see my leg as I was to see him. I'm super glad he did a meet n' greet, since it was my last show of 3 this Spring, and Glenside and New Brunswick's meet N greets were both canceled due to video editing.James, I have been waiting for this. What did he say?
