I hope you've been able to take care of that by now. It's not as simple as it used to be, what with the increase in antibiotic resistance.

You could go down the 55 to Balboa Peninsula, then double back up to the fairgrounds for the concert.
LOL so much!!

Also just got two tickets (within the first 11 rows). Can't wait!

When/how do we find out where exactly our seats are?

We will find out when the tickets arrive, I believe. Kind of a weird system but hey - first eleven rows...

From OC Fair's Internet Presale:
To enjoy video by "Weird Al" Yankovic, please visit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUxXKfQkswE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This event takes place in The Pacific Amphitheatre in advance of the 2011 OC Fair gates. A reserved seat ticket to this event guarantees a seat to the concert and includes free admission to the OC Fair between July 15 and August 14, 2011. When arriving at the Fair gates, simply present your concert ticket for Fair admission. Please do NOT purchase additional Fair admission. Please exoect that this event will begin promptly at the scheduled time. To avoid traffic and entry delays, please consider the VIP parking option for this event. VIP parking tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the OC Fair Box Office at the Pacific Amphitheatre in advance of the event day. For special offers and presale opportunities, please sign up at ocfair.com.
So, I wonder if the tickets we bought through Al's website also include fair admission... the concert tickets will look the same, I assume.

I have to assume they'll include fair admission. But if they don't for whatever reason, admission to the fair can't be that expensive, can it?

Cool, looking forward to checking out the OC Fair sometime this summer without having the major distraction of being about to see a Weird Al concert.

ETA: Anyone know if Al's Brain will be playing there this summer?
