As a TV-PG rated show, it obviously isn't for kids. The very suggestion of that disturbs me. I'm not familiar with the animating process, so I thought that the fact that they were at storyboards meant that they'd be done in at most a few weeks.

Hell, no. Animation is much more time consuming than you think.

Have you seen episodes of Adventure Time before? It is obviously not Flash animation. And what does the internet have to do with it? It is on TV.
