I was rather hoping Al would devote a song to making fun of auto-tuning. It's such an irritating trend, it needs to be thoroughly mocked by the master. But I don't know how well an auto-tune gag will work in a song about something else.

It is possible, I suppose that he'll use auto-tuning in one of the unreleased originals. And maybe, as some have suggested, in the polka.

I thought that the Know Your Meme video Al did last year was pretty much the definitive takedown of the auto-tune phenomenon, and that any further commentary on it from him would be overkill.
