Just a thought, but it does fit: Stop Forwarding That Crap to Me could be a parody of Don't Stand So Close To Me.

I'd have to say, if "Party in the CIA" and "TMZ" are parodies of what most think they are, Al should be thankful that Dr. Luke isn't some sort of jerk that refuses that any song co-wrriten by him be messed with. That goes for "I Kissed a Girl" and "Tik Tok" in the polka as well.

As much as I'd like it to be, and as much sense as it makes, I'm not completely convinced that "TMZ" is a "Teenage Dream" parody. I don't know why.

I'm sure Dr. Luke was just happy to accept another stream of income.

That was purely out of necessity because "Trapped in the Drive-Thru" was originally supposed to take up two tracks, financially speaking. By the time that R. Kelly gave Al a discount, so to speak, on the royalties and that "Do I Creep You Out" was recorded, everything else on the album was locked in and tracks 10 and 11 had to be parody material. It's screwy, I know.

This new one will follow the traditional back-and-forth format.

That was indeed where that information came from (and you can hear it for yourself by buying an AlFest DVD!) but I don't recall Bermuda saying that that was why the track listing changed order. I'm sure Al could have switched the track order if he really wanted to. There's no reason Do I Creep You Out couldn't have been added in between Weasel Stomping Day and Close But No Cigar. Al probably just felt that it flowed better with this ordering.
Having said that, I'm still convinced he will go back to the alternating formula for this album.

I don't think that TMZ will be a TNT AC/DC parody because he already has a AC/DC style parody called Young, Dumb and Ugly so it wouldn't make sense.
