The key point that Patti's sparring tweeter seems to be missing is that Al never says, "If they say no then I'll never perform it," only that he wouldn't put it on an album. We can look back over thirty years to Al performing and having songs in his repertoire that he was told he couldn't formally release, from pre-DTBS "Yoda" all the way to "You're Pitiful."

He had every right to post about the situation only because he was being so thoroughly jerked around by Gaga's management. He had to go through a number of time-consuming and costly steps that he wouldn't normally go through just for the chance of getting permission. I'm not saying Gaga's team was intentionally just baiting him with a carrot, but they did cause Al to waste a lot of time, energy, and money in what was at the time going to be a futile effort.

So if Gaga does in fact feel "bullied," which I kinda doubt she does, then her management created the situation.
