Wow, someone on twitter claims Al bullied Lady Gaga to get permission for Perform This Way. I saw the tweet in Al's timeline and had to respond. This person initially said:
"Is it me or did Weird @alyankovic pull kind of a douchebag move on Gaga? Al, u can't say you have a rule if you chuck it when inconvenient."
I said "It's you."
Response -
" Why? He claims a rule to always get permission, but when someone says 'no' he bullies them until he gets his way. Douchey."
It took me three more tweets to explain...nothing back yet. Must be a Gaga fan. A malinformed one at that. I simply stated that she never got lyrics or the recorded song, and her manager spoke for her and said no. Also explained she likes the song and gave her blessing. No douchery on Al's part.
