Re: Throw In A Solo Here
HAHA, goes with the tune well, beautiful scales he hits on that solo. Young, Dumb & Ugly is probably what I think is his most metal song and the guitar solo rocks so hard, that one would be a good replacement for Frank's 2000" TV if they feel they have to change it, which they really shouldn't. I'd be happy with that though!
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Not sure if it counts as a solo but I love the spoken-words-over-music-background portion of Skipper Dan.
Also the accordion bit of EYKIW. And the epic part of NTTH.

It doesn't matter if I do things for a reason, or on a W-H-I-M... Just stand back and enjoy the show, cuz baby, I perform this way!

A vocal solo, those count for sure. Speaking of which in Wanna B Ur Lovr, near the end, when hes like "yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaa, yeeeeaaaaayyyeeeaaaaaahhhhhh" til the end, thats pretty awesome.

Also, that gurgling scene in Smells Like Nirvana: Nothing like it.

I also like the gurgling in "Lasagna". That's funny too.

There are like 5 seconds of what could barely register as gurgling in this song. My previous statement still stands.Way_Moby wrote:I also like the gurgling in "Lasagna". That's funny too.

Re: Throw In A Solo Here
I was waiting for someone to metion the outro solo from Headline News, took longer than I expected. Hes doing less and less accordion solos now on each album unfortunately. New album should have some awesome guitar solos though, Craigslist is awesome.

Re: Throw In A Solo Here
Al said he still does use accordion on two or three songs in each album, so we can probably anticipate at least a moderate bit of it.
